Common Questions

How do I create a story? Tap the search bar to enter your destination, choose your travel mode (walking or driving), select a story style, and hit “Generate Story”. Your personalised audio adventure will begin playing automatically.

What story styles are available? Choose from Walking Tour, Horror Narration, Mystery Detective, Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, and Noir Adventure. Each style offers a unique narrative experience tailored to your journey.

Can I use the app whilst travelling? Yes! StoryPath supports background playback and lock screen controls, so your story continues even when your phone is locked or you’re using other apps.

Why does the app need my location? We use your location only when you tap “Use Current Location” to help plan your route and show your progress on the map during your journey. Location data is never stored.

How do I delete my account? Go to Settings → Account → scroll to “Close Account” → tap “Delete Account”. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Technical Support

Story won’t generate? Check your internet connection and ensure you’re signed in. Routes longer than 4 hours aren’t currently supported.

Audio not playing? Make sure your device isn’t in silent mode and that you’ve granted the app permission to play audio in the background.

Map not loading? Check your internet connection. The app requires an active connection to display maps and generate stories.
